Delete Your Account & Data
Last updated: June 29, 2026
You can delete your Bible Quiz account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Bible Quiz is a product of Kairos Vine. This page explains how to request deletion, what is removed, what we may keep, and how long it takes.
How to request deletion
By email (works for everyone). Send a message to support@biblequiz.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We may ask a question or two to confirm it's really you before we proceed.
In the app. If you're signed in, open your account settings in Bible Quiz and choose Delete account, then confirm. This starts the same deletion described below.
What gets deleted
Once your request is processed, we permanently remove the personal data tied to your account, including:
- Your profile — name or display name, email address, and login credentials.
- Your personal quiz and practice history, scores, and progress.
- Your individual membership in any teams or organizations you joined.
What we may keep
A few things may remain after your account is deleted:
- Shared team and match records. A match you took part in, or a roster kept by a team or organization you belonged to, may stay in that group's records so the group's own history stays intact. Where we can, we remove or de-identify your personal details from it.
- De-identified and aggregated data that no longer identifies you.
- Limited records we are required to keep by law, or that we need to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our agreements.
- Routine backups, which are purged on a rolling schedule (within 90 days) after deletion.
How long it takes
We complete account and data deletion within 30 days of confirming your request, apart from the limited categories above. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, so please save anything you want to keep before you ask us to delete your account.
